It was never to be. In the past few months I had spent weeks repairing it. First it was the split in the wing tissue which required a major repaint of the wing.

Then the removable wing nearly fell out during flight and that required another extensive repair -including a complete repaint of the fuselage.

The second repair did it. The controls snagged internally and in it went.
